Porter Novelli's Boston Office Kicks off 2007 with New Hires
Porter Novelli today announced several new employees in its Boston
office, including public relations veteran Steven Casey, who as a senior
vice president brings 20 years of agency and client side communications
experience and a reputation for client service excellence to the firm.

said Jim Barbagallo, partner and managing director of Porter Novelli’s
Boston office. "Today, we have an
exceptionally strong core team here in Boston that works closely with
the global network of Porter Novelli professionals to address diverse
client communications challenges.”
Casey has held numerous senior-level positions in both agency and
corporate settings. Most recently, he ran the Boston office of
FitzGerald Communications. Prior to FitzGerald, Casey’s
experience spans a broad range of Massachusetts technology leaders
including IONA Technologies, where he served as served as vice president
of corporate marketing, and RSA Security Inc. (now part of EMC), where
Casey oversaw corporate communications and investor relations. In
addition, Casey is skilled in branding, positioning and business
development. He will directly support Porter Novelli clients Analog
Devices and Tele Atlas.

New hires also joining Casey in the Boston office of Porter Novelli are:
Account Executive Ellen Bishop, who has previously held positions at
Blanc & Otus and O’Keeffe & Company;
Assistant Account Executive Erin Hefferan, who served as a public
relations coordinator for Citigate Cunningham and Suffolk University;
and
Assistant Account Executive Sarah Grazier, who brings experience in
public relations and journalism through previous work at Schneider
Associates, Boston University’s College of
Communication and the Nashua Telegraph.
Bishop, Hefferan and Grazier will support a range of the agency’s
technology accounts, including eCopy, Tele Atlas and Analog Devices.
Porter Novelli also announced three interns in its Boston office: Stacey
Perlman, from Northeastern University’s
School of Journalism, and Elise Kohen and Kathleen Gallagher, both from
Boston University’s College of Communication.
