Polaris Industries Inc. Appoints William Grant Van Dyke to Its Board of Directors

Mr. Van Dyke, 61, was the Chairman of the Board of DonaldsonCompany, Inc., a leading worldwide provider of filtration systems andreplacement parts, until his retirement in 2005. He was Chairman,President and Chief Executive Officer of Donaldson Company from 1996to 2004 and held various financial and management positions from 1980to 1996. Mr. Van Dyke also serves as a director of Graco Inc. andAlliant Techsystems Inc. Mr. Van Dyke holds a B.A. and an M.B.A. fromthe University of Minnesota.
