Pöyry awarded feasibility and final design assignments for Hydropower projects in Turkey

 PÖYRY PLC Press release 29 July 2014 at 10 am (EEST). DC Hidro Enerji Üretim A.S has awarded Pöyry with the feasibility studies and final design services assignments for Doganli 1, Doganli 2, Doganli 3 and Çukurca dams and hydroelectric power plants (HEPPs) in Turkey. The assignments include the execution of the feasibility studies, final design studies, tender specifications for civil structures (dam, power intake, power tunnel and penstocks, spillway, diversion structures with two tunnels and bottom outlet) and related hydro-mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment. The projects will be executed jointly, with the local consortium partner Dolsar, up to the end of 2015. The projects of Doganli and Çukurca cascade are located on the Zap River in the eastern part of Turkey, and developed by private investors in Turkey.
