Piyush Singh Named Vice President of American Financial Group

CINCINNATI, Jan. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Financial Group, Inc. Nasdaq announced that Piyush Singh has been named Vice President of the company. In his new role, Mr. Singh will have responsibility for information technology services for AFG's property and casualty insurance operations and a number of AFG corporate functions. He has also been named Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Great American Insurance Company.

Mr. Singh is a proven technology professional, and brings 12 years of insurance industry-specific experience to this position, much of it related to transformation of front office insurance operations.

Mr. Singh earned a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Physics from Hindu College, Delhi, a Masters in Computer Applications from University of Delhi, India, and a Masters of Business Administration from Bradley University in Peoria, IL. Additionally, Mr. Singh attained his CPCU designation and completed the Advanced Executive Education program offered by the AICPCU at the Wharton School of Business.

Through the operations of the Great American Insurance Group, AFG is engaged primarily in property and casualty insurance, focusing on specialized commercial products for businesses, and in the sale of retirement annuities, supplemental insurance and life products.
