Philips Ultrasound Business Ranks #1 in Overall Service Performance in 2005 IMV ServiceTrak(TM) Survey; Philips Service Organization places first for 13th year in a row in customer satisfaction

The 2005 IMV ServiceTrak report, one of the most recognized andtrusted surveys in the healthcare industry, confirmed Philips industryleadership position in 18 ultrasound service and performance factorsstudied in the survey. In addition, Philips scored well above industryaverages in 24 attributes, with 18 scores being better than lastyear's results.

Over 2,200 respondents were asked to rate manufacturers on a broadrange of factors across the product ownership lifecycle. Philips ratedbest in the areas of emergency response, satisfaction with service andmanufacturer performance, satisfaction with service engineer, helpdesk telephone support, and remote dial-in diagnostic support. Thereport also indicated that Philips customers were happier than anyother manufacturers' customers with the services they receive.
