PetSmart Backs Q3, FY13 EPS View - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Pet products retailer PetSmart, Inc. (PETM) said it still sees third-quarter 2013 earnings per share in the range of $0.83 - $0.87, while now it expects comparable-store sales growth of 2.2 to 2.5 percent, versus its prior range of 3 to 4 percent. Twenty-five analysts project earnings of $0.87 per share in the third quarter.

For full year 2013, the firm continues to expect earnings in the range of $3.88 to $3.98 per share, with both total and comparable-store sales growth ranging between 3 percent and 4 percent. Analysts anticipate earnings of $3.98 per share for the year.
