Perot Systems Elects Former VA Secretary Anthony Principi to Board of Directors

PLANO, Texas, Dec. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Perot Systems Corporation today announced that it has elected Anthony J. Principi to its board of directors.

Mr. Principi, currently chairman and president of QTC Management, Inc., recently completed four years as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. During that time he directed the federal government's second largest department, responsible for a nationwide system of health care services, benefit programs, and national cemeteries for America's 25 million living veterans and dependents.

Prior to his appointment in 2001 as Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Mr. Principi served as a senior vice president at Lockheed Martin IMS, and a partner in the San Diego law firm of Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps. He has also been a Vice President with Pfizer, Inc.

The 1967 U.S. Naval Academy graduate received the Bronze Star with a V for valor for his service in Vietnam. He earned his law degree from Seton Hall University in 1975.
