Peanut Scare: Kellogg Issues Major Recall

(RTTNews) - Kellogg Co. (K) has issued a voluntarily recall of select brownies and cookie products as it may contain "undeclared peanut residue."

Kellogg said it initiated the recall after its supplier, Grain Craft, recalled wheat flour that has the potential to contain low levels of peanut residue.

Among the products affected are Mother's Cookies, Keebler, Kellogg's Special K brownies, Murray and Famous Amos snacks and cookies. A list of the recalled Kellogg products is on the company's website.

Kellogg is asking that people who purchased affected product discard it and contact the company for a full refund.
