Peab to Build 344 Apartments in Uppsala

Peab (STO:PEABB) has been contracted to build 344 new apartments in the residential Rosendal, Uppsala. The client is Rosendal Estate and the contract amounts to SEK 342 million.

The assignment includes a building with 344 apartments of 27-50 square meters spread over six floors. Most of the apartments have a ceiling height of 3.7 meters and a loft of about 14 sqm. The building will also host a grocery store, restaurant, gym and office. The building's rooftop terrace includes a 200 meters running track, court for street basketball and sun stairs.

The project is a turnkey contract. The work will begin immediately and is scheduled for completion by summer 2017.

The project will be reported in the first quarter of 2015.
