PDA Unveils 2017 Global Conference Schedule

BETHESDA, Md., Dec. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Parenteral Drug Association (PDA) has released its 2017 calendar of conferences and workshops. The Association will sponsor 30 events around the globe on various topics of importance to pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical professionals in manufacturing, quality and regulatory affairs.

PDA holds five signature meetings each year: the Annual Meeting (Apr. 3-5, Anaheim, CA), the PDA Europe Annual Meeting (Jun. 13-14, Berlin), the PDA/FDA Joint Regulatory Conference (Sept. 11-13, Washington), the 12^th Annual PDA Global Conference on Pharmaceutical Microbiology (Oct. 16-18, Bethesda, Md.), and The Universe of Prefilled Syringes and Injection Devices (Nov. 7-8, Vienna, Austria).

Attendees at PDA's conferences can expect the participation of global regulators, either as speakers, audience attendees and/or as members of the planning committees for the event. Hot regulatory topics are always addressed at the PDA/FDA Joint Regulatory Conference, but more focused discussion of regulatory topics will occur at the Pharmaceutical Metrics and Quality Culture Conference (Feb. 21-22, Bethesda, Md.), Annex 1 Workshop (May 10-11, Washington), Biosimilars Conference (Jun. 26-27, Bethesda, Md.), and the Post-Approval Change Innovation for Availability of Medicines Workshop (Sept. 13-14, Washington).
