Lexmark earned XChange XCellence awards for Best Revenue Generator and Best of Show at both CMP Technology's Government Integrator Conference and its 2007 XChange Solution Provider conference, beating out competitors such as HP, OKI and Microsoft for the honors. At the Government Integrator Conference, Lexmark also received Best Hardware Solution for the new Lexmark Education Station, which is a laser multifunction device that allows teachers to access solutions designed specifically to help them spend less time on paperwork and more time in the classroom. In addition, Lexmark earned Best Partner Program honors at the 2007 XChange Solution Provider conference. The awards are based on votes from solution providers in attendance at the conference.
Lexmark was also one of only 65 companies that earned five-star certification from VARBusiness this year. More than 230 vendors applied for the certification, which is based on the partnership programs each company provides to the solution providers that sell its products and services to end users.
"Lexmark continues to shine as an industry leader in the channel," said Nancy Hammervik, vice president of XChange. "Lexmark is an organization that truly understands and listens to its partners' needs."
Lexmark offers a wide range of margin-enhancement programs for solution providers and value-added resellers called Profits in Printing. These programs include rebate programs, special certifications for partners that also provide service and solutions support to their customers and incentives for partners who are loyal to Lexmark.
"Lexmark's channel partners are essential to our success, and we are committed to delivering not only high-quality products and solutions that help our partners add more value for their customers, but also substantial programs to help our partners increase their top line revenue and bottom line profitability," said Paul Rooke, Lexmark executive vice president and president of its Printing Solutions and Services Division.
