PartnerRe To Buy Back Up To 6 Mln Shares - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - PartnerRe Ltd. (PRE) announced that its board has approved a share repurchase authorization for a total of up to 6 million common shares, effective immediately. The company noted that the authorization supercedes its previous authorization of March 2013.

PartnerRe Ltd. is a global reinsurer, providing multi-line reinsurance to insurance companies. For the year ended December 31, 2012, total revenues were $5.6 billion.
