Papa John's International Q3 Income Rises 2%

(RTTNews) - Papa John's International (PZZA) released earnings for its third quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $21.82 million, or $0.60 per share. This was higher than $21.47 million, or $0.57 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.60 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 2.2% to $431.71 million. This was up from $422.44 million last year.
