Panera Bread Co. Q1 Income Climbs 1%

(RTTNews) - Panera Bread Co. (PNRA) released earnings for its first quarter that climbed compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $37.83 million, or $1.56 per share. This was higher than $37.43 million, or $1.41 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 5.7% to $685.15 million. This was up from $648.50 million last year.
