Packaging Corp. of America Q1 adjusted earnings of $1.55 per share

(RTTNews) - Packaging Corp. of America (PKG) announced earnings for its first quarter that advanced from last year.

The company's earnings totaled $140.1 million, or $1.48 per share. This compares with $117.4 million, or $1.24 per share, in last year's first quarter.

Excluding items, Packaging Corp. of America reported adjusted earnings of $146.9 million or $1.55 per share for the period.

The company's revenue for the quarter rose 9.7% to $1.69 billion from $1.54 billion last year.
