PA Table Games Revenue Increases 4.2% In June

Total gaming revenue for Fiscal Year 2012-13 totaled $3.14 billion for 2^nd consecutive year

HARRISBURG, Pa., July 16, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Revenue from table games play at 11 Pennsylvania casinos was $59.5 million in June 2013, according to a report released today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.  That represented a 4.2% increase in revenue from table games during June of this year compared to June of 2012.

The monthly report, posted on the Board's web site, www.gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov, also shows $8.5 million in tax revenue was generated from table games this June.

Gross table games revenue for each of the casinos operating in both June 2013 and June 2012 is as follows:

The June figure boosted total table games revenue during the 2012-13 Fiscal Year to just over $713 million, an increase of 7.4% over the previous state Fiscal Year.  Total tax revenue from table games during Fiscal Year 2012-13 of $103 million.

The Board also is providing a comparison of total gaming revenues for all Fiscal Years since casino gaming began in November 2006.  Pennsylvania casinos operated just slot machines from November 2006 until July 2010 when table games were added.

Combined with the slot machine revenue generated in 2012-13, total combined revenue from casino gaming was $3,141,938,960 which closely matched the total gaming revenue in the 2011-12 Fiscal Year of $3,140,629,989. 

Combined tax revenue from slot machines and table games for the 2012-2013 Fiscal Year was $1,411,551,329.
