    OSHKOSH, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 3, 2005--Oshkosh Truck Corporation (NYSE:OSK), a leading manufacturer of trucks and truck bodies, announced today that its subsidiary, McNeilus Companies, Inc., has introduced a new rear loader, called the M5(TM), to the refuse hauling market. The new McNeilus(R) M5 is designed for private and municipal waste haulers that are looking for a small- to mid-sized packer with significant payload capacity and a quick delivery. It is available in sizes from 10 to 20 cubic yards.
    The new body was introduced at Waste Expo 2005, May 2-5 in Las Vegas, the largest trade show in North America that serves both the private and public sectors of the waste industry.

The unit also features "pack-on-the-go" hydraulics, which provide optimum cycle times to maximize fleet productivity.
