Orbotech Q3 Profit Declines - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Orbotech Ltd. (ORBK) reported that its GAAP net income attributable to the company for the third quarter of 2014 was $7.4 million or $0.17 per share, down from $11.9 million, or $0.28 per share in the comparable quarter last year.

Non-GAAP net income from operations for the latest third quarter was $22.6 million, or $0.53 per share, compared to $13.6 million, or $0.32 per share in the year-ago period.

Revenues for the third quarter were $167.28 million, compared with $113.44 million in the prior year quarter.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.34 per share and revenues of $166.44 million for the quarter.

Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, the company expects revenues to be approximately $190 million. Analysts currently expect fourth quarter revenues of $191.00 million.
