Ontex: Transparency Declaration Notification

Ontex Group NV ("Ontex”) discloses the notifications of significant shareholdings that it has received according to the Belgian Law of 2 May 2007 on the disclosure of significant shareholdings in listed companies.

Between 17 October 2016 and 21 October 2016, Ontex received the following Transparency Declaration Notifications:

1. On 17 October 2016, BlackRock, Inc., and its affiliated entities, notified Ontex (1) that it had, as a result of sales of shares, crossed below the threshold of 5.00% of the total number of voting rights in Ontex, (2) that Blackrock Investment Management (UK) Limited had acquired 2,511,638 shares in Ontex and so had crossed the threshold of 3.00% of the total number of voting rights in Ontex to 3.36% and (3) that Blackrock (Luxembourg) SA had crossed below the threshold of 3.00% of the total number of voting rights in Ontex. 2. On 18 October 2016, BlackRock, Inc., and its affiliated entities, notified Ontex that it had acquired 3,743,771 shares in Ontex and so had crossed the threshold of 5.00% of the total number of voting rights in Ontex to 5.00%. To access the full notification, please click here.

3. On 19 October 2016, Blackrock, Inc., and its affiliated entities, notified Ontex that it had, as a result of sales of shares, crossed below the threshold of 5.00% of the total number of voting rights in Ontex to 4.997%. To access the full notification, please click here.

4. On 20 October 2016, BlackRock, Inc., and its affiliated entities, notified Ontex that it had acquired 3,743,649 shares in Ontex and so had crossed the threshold of 5.00% of the total number of voting rights in Ontex to 5.00%. To access the full notification, please click here.

5. On 21 October 2016, Blackrock, Inc., and its affiliated entities, notified Ontex that it had, as a result of sales of shares, crossed below the threshold of 5.00% of the total number of voting rights in Ontex to 4.94%.
