Old Dominion Freight Line Reveals 5% Drop In Q4 Profit

(RTTNews) - Old Dominion Freight Line (ODFL) reported earnings for fourth quarter that decreased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $68.51 million, or $0.83 per share. This was down from $72.22 million, or $0.85 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.86 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 1.5% to $745.74 million. This was up from $734.57 million last year.
