Nuveen's Steeves to Manage Additional Municipal Closed-End Exchange-Traded Funds

    CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 14, 2005--Nuveen Investments, a leading provider of diversified investment services, today announced the appointment of Cathryn Steeves as portfolio manager for five of Nuveen's municipal closed-end exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The funds were previously managed by Dan Solender, who continues to manage several national and state-specific municipal bond funds for Nuveen. Steeves currently manages Nuveen's Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio, and Texas municipal bond funds. She holds an undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and a Ph.D. from Columbia University. Steeves joined Nuveen Investments in 1996 as an analyst, and was promoted in 1998 to senior research analyst following the healthcare sector. She was named Vice President in 2003.

Nuveen Florida Investment Quality Municipal Fund (NQF) Nuveen Florida Quality Income Municipal (NUF) Nuveen Michigan Quality Income Municipal (NUM) Nuveen Michigan Premium Income Municipal (NMP) Nuveen Michigan Dividend Advantage Municipal Fund (NZW)
