NQ Mobile Receives Takeover Offer From Bison Capital

(RTTNews) - NQ Mobile Inc. (NQ) said Wednesday that its board of directors has received a non-binding proposal from Bison Capital Holding Co. Ltd. to acquire all of NQ's outstanding ordinary shares and American Depositary Shares, each representing five ordinary shares, for a fixed cash consideration of US$9.80 per ADS.

The Beijing, China-based mobile security software maker said its Board is reviewing the proposed deal, and that it may retain independent advisors, including an independent financial advisor, to assist it in its work.

NQ Mobile's ADS are currently trading at US$7.94, up US$1.04 or 15.07%.
