(RTTNews) - Nevermind the calendar, Krispy Kreme is not fooling around with this free donut offer.

Anyone who steps into most Krispy Kreme locations can enjoy a free original glazed doughnut on April 1.

The free offer is in appreciation of unusually fair winter and "especially bountiful Doughnut harvest."

Krispy Kreme said, "Now, for the first time, the surplus is so great we are inviting guests everywhere to join us in celebration."

A few locations in Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Mexico , Nevada, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Wisconsin will not be offering a free Donut, the company said.
