Noble Corp. Earnings Rise 155% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Noble Corp. (NE) announced a profit for its third quarter that climbed from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $318.66 million, or $1.32 per share. This was higher than $125.20 million, or $0.57 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.52 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 8.2% to $896.67 million. This was up from $828.80 million last year.
