NMS Communications Appoints Jonathan Sieg Vice President, Platform Sol

    FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 2, 2005--NMS Communications (NASDAQ: NMSS) announced that industry veteran Jonathan Sieg has joined the NMS management team as vice president, Platform Solutions, responsible for the company's Open Access(TM) (http://www.nmscommunications.com/openaccess) line of development platforms for IP and mobile communications solutions. Sieg has an impressive record of innovation in technology development and leadership. Most recently, he was CEO, president and founder of AP Engines, Inc., an OSS middleware provider to the broadband cable service and IP telephony markets. Prior to his tenure at AP Engines, Sieg held a number of executive-level roles at Bay Networks (Nortel), Penril Datability Networks, Racal InterLan, and Wang Laboratories.
