Newell Rubbermaid CFO Doug Martin Resigns

(RTTNews) - Newell Rubbermaid (NWL) announced that its Executive Vice President or EVP and Chief Financial Officer or CFO, Doug Martin, has resigned from the company effective August 31, 2014.

Doug Martin will be joining Spectrum Brands (SPB) on September 1, 2014 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

The company said that it has retained Spencer Stuart to help identify a new Chief Financial Officer.

Newell Rubbermaid stated that while that search is underway, John Stipancich, Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and EMEA Leader, has been named the company's Interim Chief Financial Officer.
