Newcastle Investment Slips To Loss In Q4 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Newcastle Investment Corp. (NCT) said that its fourth-quarter loss applicable to common stockholders was $10.33 million or $0.16 per share, compared to income applicable to common stockholders of $26.61 million or $0.49 per share in the prior year quarter.

The latest quarter's results include total depreciation and amortization charges of $19 million, $1 million of amortization of favorable or unfavorable leasehold intangibles, and $1 million of accretion on golf membership deposit liability.

Core earnings for the latest quarter were $8.24 million or $0.12 per share. Adjusted funds from operations for the quarter were $11.02 million or $0.17 per share.

Total operating revenues for the quarter were $64.67 million.
