NewBridge Bancorp And Premier Commercial Bank Announce Merger Agreement

(RTTNews) - NewBridge Bancorp (NBBC), the bank holding company for NewBridge Bank, and Premier Commercial Bank, a financial institution headquartered in Greensboro announced a definitive merger agreement that will result in a community bank with total assets of $2.6 billion.

NewBridge anticipates it will be able to achieve approximately 45% in cost savings based on Premier's current operating expenses; and accretion to operating earnings per share in 2015 and beyond.

Premier Commercial Bank operates one full-service banking office centrally located in Greensboro and residential mortgage origination offices in Greensboro, Charlotte, Raleigh, High Point, Kernersville and Burlington, N.C.
