New York & Co. 9-week Comps. Up 1.0%, Narrows Q4 Operating Profit View

(RTTNews) - Apparel chain New York & Company, Inc. (NWY) posted one percent growth in its comparable sales for the nine week period ended January 4 and narrowed its operating income outlook for the fourth quarter.

The company said it now expects fourth-quarter operating income in the range of $5.0 million - $6.5 million, which is at the midpoint to higher end of its previously issued guidance range of $3.0 million - $7.0 million. Also, the Company said it expects inventory to be in-line with its guidance previously disclosed in the Company's third quarter press release dated December 4, 2013.
