New Residential Investment Corp. Profit Advances 166% In Q2

(RTTNews) - New Residential Investment Corp. (NRZ) announced earnings for its second quarter that increased from last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $317.74 million, or $1.02 per share. This was higher than $119.59 million, or $0.52 per share, in last year's second quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.53 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 101.8% to $356.79 million. This was up from $176.79 million last year.
