    SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 16, 2005--NetIQ Corp.     According to judges, the versatility of AppManager and its ease of use were key factors in propelling the product to the Gold Award in the Network and System Management category. The most recent version of the product boasts improved performance and scalability over its previous version and offers enhanced levels of security. Additionally, all three judges agreed that the product's ability to manage a wide variety of networks such as Windows-, Linux- and Unix-based was a huge deciding factor.
