Nederman Receives Order from Major Steel Producer in The USA

The order, worth approximately 8 million USD (SEK 66 million), will provide air filtration for an electric arc furnace.

The customer’s existing air filtration equipment is aging and undersized. Nederman worked closely with the customer to engineer the solution to fit the existing facility. Nederman’s solution is the Mikropul long bag pulse jet fabric filter. Included with the new fabric filter is ductwork, ID fans (induced draft), controls, material handling, dust unloading system and other accessories.

The order will be booked in Q1 of 2015 and the installation is targeted to be completed by Q1, 2016.
