Navios Maritime Loss Narrows

(RTTNews) - Tanker vessels operator Navios Maritime Acquisition Corp. (NNA) Tuesday reported second-quarter net loss to common stock of $1.4 million or $0.02 per share, compared with net loss of $1.6 million or $0.04 per share last year.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $83 thousand or breakeven earnings per share.

Revenues for the quarter were $47 million, compared with $36 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated breakeven earnings per share on revenues of $46.71 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
