Nam Tai Electronics CEO Wang Lu Ping Resigns - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Nam Tai Electronics, Inc. (NTE) Tuesday said Wang Lu Ping has resigned as Chief Executive Officer, effective March 1 due to personal reasons as well as the transformation of core business.

The company confirmed that Wang's departure was voluntary and amicable, and there was no dispute between Wang and the company.

Upon the resignation of Wang, Liu Pi Hao was appointed as the CEO (Acting) of the company effective the same date.

Liu has been with Nam Tai for over 14 years and prior to his latest appointment served as the Vice Chief Executive Officer of the company's Shenzhen Manufacturing Facilities.

Nam Tai reminded that the record date for the company's second quarter cash dividend of $0.02 per common share will be March 31, and the dividend payment date will be April 17.

Nam Tai is expected to release first-quarter financial results for the period ended March 31 on April 28.
