Monster Names Steve Pemberton as Vice President, Diversity and Inclusion

Diversity and Recruitment Expert Returns to Monster's Management Team

Monster(R), the leading global online careers site and flagshipbrand of Monster Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: MNST), today announced theappointment of Steve Pemberton as vice president, Diversity andInclusion. Mr. Pemberton rejoins Monster after previously serving inthe role of vice president, Strategy and Development for MonsterCampus where he successfully advanced Monster's student recruitmentsolutions.

Mr. Pemberton brings nearly 15 years of strategic operations,product development, and marketing experience to his new role. As vicepresident, Diversity and Inclusion, Mr. Pemberton will be responsiblefor driving Monster's Diversity business and Monster's role as aleader helping companies in their recruitment and retention of adiverse workforce. He will also be tasked with growing and expandingMonster's diversity recruitment solutions and forging strategicalliances with organizations committed to diversity and inclusion.

Mr. Pemberton most recently served as co-president and co-founderof Road to College, a national college admission consulting servicethat provides admission solutions to students and families.

During his career, Mr. Pemberton also held the position of vicepresident, Consumer Products at CollegeLink, a business acquired byMonster Worldwide in 2001. Prior to joining CollegeLink, Mr. Pembertonwas employed for ten years at Boston College as the senior assistantdirector of admissions. During his long tenure with the College, Stevewas responsible for diversification of the student body and served asthe chairperson on numerous admission committees responsible forevaluation of U.S. and international applicants.

Mr. Pemberton has been a frequent presenter at nationalconferences including the National Association of College AdmissionCounselors and The College Board. He also served a two-year term aspresident of the New England Consortium of Black Admission Counselorsand was a recipient of the Lifetime Achiever Award by the New EnglandOpportunity Association. Mr. Pemberton received his Bachelor of Artsdegree in political science from Boston College.
