Monster Beverage Corp. Reveals 14% Gain In Q3 Profit

(RTTNews) - Monster Beverage Corp. (MNST) revealed a profit for its third quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $218.74 million, or $0.38 per share. This was up from $191.64 million, or $0.33 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.40 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 15.4% to $909.48 million. This was up from $787.95 million last year.
