MobileIron Names Frédéric Gillant Vice President of Sales for Asia Pacific
MOUNTAIN VIEW, California, May 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- MobileIron (NASDAQ:MOBL), the secure foundation for modern work, today announced that Frédéric Gillant has joined the company as Vice President of Sales for Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, Gillant will lead MobileIron's go-to-market strategy and execution across the Asia Pacific region, managing sales, channels, and regional operations.
"Frédéric is an experienced Asia Pacific sales leader, with a depth of experience and strong relationships in the region," said Greg Randolph, Senior Vice President Worldwide Sales, MobileIron. "He has a strong track record building and leading high performing sales and pre-sales teams in Asia. I'm excited about the contribution he will make as we accelerate our growth in Asia Pacific and Japan."
Frédéric brings to MobileIron 28 years of IT industry experience and 18 years in Asia Pacific leadership roles. He joins MobileIron from ShoreTel where he managed sales, channels, marketing and customer success. Prior to ShoreTel, Frédéric was Vice President APAC for Unified Communications and Collaboration at Orange Business Services. His background includes leading Sales and Services at T-Systems (Deutsche Telekom) in Greater China and management positions at Logica (now CGI) and Schneider Electric.
Gillant has a master's degree in science and engineering from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers, as well as a master's in marketing from ESSEC Business School in Paris.
