Misleading Norwegian Media Stories on MMO Adjustments
Some Norwegian media this week published stories giving the impression that Aker Solutions yesterday announced plans to reduce capacity in its MMO business in Norway by an additional 300 positions. This is incorrect. The stories used information and quotes from a press release published by Aker Solutions on February 18 but did not specify this date. Aker Solutions has not made any announcements since February 18 about new capacity adjustments in the MMO business and has no plans to do so.
