Microsemi Corp. Q4 Income Rises 49%

(RTTNews) - Microsemi Corp. (MSCC) announced a profit for its fourth quarter that rose from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $104.9 million, or $0.91 per share. This was higher than $70.3 million, or $0.73 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.90 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 36.9% to $450.1 million. This was up from $328.8 million last year.
