MICROS Systems Q4 Results Top Estimates

(RTTNews) - MICROS Systems, Inc. (MCRS) reported net income for the fourth quarter of $56.0 million or $0.74 per share, compared to $42.0 million or $0.53 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net income for the fourth quarter was $63.5 million or $0.84 per share, compared to $48.9 million or $0.62 per share in the prior year quarter.

Revenue for the fourth quarter rose 20% to $396.15 million from $328.61 million a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.71 per share on revenue of $360.72 million for the fourth quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
