Micromuse's Business Service Management Solution Selected as 2005 Codie Award Finalist Unique Service Modeling and Dashboarding Capabilities Prompt Nomination by SIIA for "Best Application Management Solution"
Micromuse Inc. (Nasdaq: MUSE), the leading provider of ultra-scalable, realtime business and service assurance software announced today that the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the principal trade association for the software and digital content industries, has selected Micromuse's Business Service Management (BSM) Solution as a 2005 Codie Awards finalist for "Best Application Management Solution." Codie Award winners will be selected by SIIA voting members and the 2005 awards will be presented at a black-tie gala on May 25, 2005 at Universal Studio's Globe Theater in Universal City, CA.

Established in 1986, the Codie Awards is the longest-running awards program in the software and information industry. The program acknowledges the industry's most innovative products and services through a combination of journalist and peer review. More than 1,000 nominations were submitted by over 800 companies for the 2005 awards.
