McGrath RentCorp Q2 Profit Tops View

(RTTNews) - McGrath RentCorp. (MGRC) Thursday posted second-quarter net income of $10.2 million, or $0.39 per share, compared to $9.8 million, or $0.38 per share in the prior year quarter. On average, three analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.38 per share. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues for the latest second quarter was $95.75 million, up10% from $87.16 million in the year-ago period, while two analysts expected revenue of $91.40 million for the quarter.

The company reconfirms its expectation that its 2014 full-year earnings per share will be in a range of $1.70 to $1.85 per share. Analysts now expect earnings of $1.70 per share.
