Matthew Siegel Named CFO Of "SpinCo" - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - Charter Communications, Inc. (CHTR) and Comcast Corp. (CMCSA, CMCSK) announced that current Time Warner Cable SVP and Treasurer Matthew Siegel will serve as Chief Financial Officer of "SpinCo," the new cable company that will be spun off from Comcast following the closing of the Comcast - Time Warner Cable merger and the Comcast - Charter transactions. Siegel will continue to serve as Time Warner Cable SVP and Treasurer until the completion of the Comcast - Time Warner Cable merger.
In his present role as SVP and Treasurer at Time Warner Cable, Siegel oversees the Treasury functions, Investment Management, Real Estate, Risk Management and the company's Supply Chain Management. In 2008, he joined Time Warner Cable from Time Warner Inc., where he was Vice President and Assistant Treasurer. Earlier to joining Time Warner Inc. in 2001, he was the Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer of Insight Communications.
