Manitex International, Inc. Named to Forbes List of America's Best Small Companies

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill., Oct. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Manitex International, Inc. (Nasdaq: MNTX), a leading provider of engineered lifting solutions including boom truck and rough terrain cranes, rough terrain forklifts, special mission oriented vehicles, container handling equipment and specialized engineered trailers today announced that for the second straight year it has been named to the Forbes Magazine's "America's Best Small Companies" list, coming in at #44 on the list for 2013.

According to Forbes, this list compiles "an annual ranking of America's Best Small Companies that have experienced strong growth over the past five years. The 2013 list highlights public companies with sales under $1 billion, which are ranked based on return on equity, sales growth and earnings growth over the past year and the past five years." Forbes methodology also factored in stock performance versus each company's peer group during the last 12 months. Through September 30, 2013, MNTX shares were up 53% Year-to-Date.
