Macromedia Announces End-to-End Solution for High-Impact Online Events; New Breeze Events Solution and Experienced Services Team Allow Marketers to Gain More Leads at Lower Cost Per Lead
The solution includes an online seminar room within MacromediaBreeze(TM), for up to 2,500 participants, sophisticated eventmanagement and tracking capabilities, and end-to-end event consultingservices to meet the needs of marketing professionals who may havepreviously lacked the technical resources or budget to take advantageof live online marketing.
"The use of live, Web-based events is clearly a trend with greatmomentum, allowing companies to lower their marketing costs byconnecting with a maximum number of people, regardless of location,time zone or other constraints imposed by traveling or meeting inperson," said Paul Ritter, senior analyst and research director,Wainhouse Research. Anyone with an Internet-connected PC can instantly join any Breezeevent. Unlike other web conferencing solutions that require allparticipants to download and install a plug-in, Breeze is deployedusing Macromedia Flash Player and is installed on over 98% of browsersworldwide, so no special downloads are needed. Because Flash Player isso pervasive, viewers already have everything they need to instantlyattend any Breeze Event.
