Lufthansa Orders its 14th EP-1000CT Visual System from Evans & Sutherl

    SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 4, 2005--Evans & Sutherland Computer Corp. (E&S(R)) (NASDAQ: ESCC) announced today that Lufthansa Flight Training (LFT) has purchased an EP(TM)1000CT Visual System. The system will be used to replace the existing visual system installed on an LFT simulator.
    Lufthansa has the largest installed base of EP-1000CT systems, with 12 simulators equipped and in training at its facilities in Frankfurt and Berlin. A 13th system is due to enter service in early 2005. This order marks E&S' 14th EP-1000CT system purchased by Lufthansa.
    Including this order, 26 EP-1000CT systems have been sold by E&S in the fiscal year 2004, bringing the total sales for the product to 54 since its first delivery in 2003.

    EP-1000CT has initiated a new era in visual realism for commercial aviation training. At the top of E&S' Environment Processor product line, EP-1000CT is designed specifically to meet the exacting requirements for FAA/JAA Level D (and equivalent) flight training.
