LSI Corp. Q1 Adj. Profit Tops View - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Semiconductor company LSI Corp. (LSI) Wednesday reported first-quarter net income of $33 million or $0.06 per share, compared to $18 million or $0.03 per share in the comparable quarter last year.

Adjusted net income for the quarter was $100 million, or $0.17 per share, up from $94 million, or $0.17 per share in the prior year period. Analyst polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of $0.15 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Revenues for the quarter rose to $569.07 million from $564.68 million a year ago, while six analysts estimated revenues of $585.47 million for the quarter.
