LMI Aerospace's Unit To Be Northrop Grumman's Platinum Source Preferred Supplier

(RTTNews) - LMI Aerospace, Inc. (LMIA), a supplier of structural assemblies, kits and components, late Monday announced that its unit Tempco Engineering, Inc. has been awarded by Northrop Grumman Corp. (NOC) as a Platinum Source Preferred Supplier.

Northrop Grumman's Aerospace Systems sector recognized 74 companies from the United States, Canada and Turkey with its annual supplier awards for 2013.

These awards are presented in two categories, such as Platinum Source Preferred and Suppliers of the Year. The company noted that Northrop Grumman grants the awards only to those Aerospace Systems sector suppliers that achieve distinction in product quality, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and robust, lean processes.

Tempco, located in Sun Valley, CA,has been supporting Northrop Grumman Aerospace since 2010 by providing machined detail components and light assemblies for the unmanned BKM -CHUKAR Targets drone program.
