Lincoln Electric Q3 Income Advances 3%

(RTTNews) - Lincoln Electric (LECO) released a profit for its third quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $61.78 million, or $0.93 per share. This was up from $60.05 million, or $0.89 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.94 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 17.9% to $669.49 million. This was up from $567.65 million last year.
