Lentuo International Q2 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Lentuo International Inc. (LAS) reported that its second-quarter net income and comprehensive income attributable to controlling interest increased to RMB 21.35 milion or RMB 0.36 per share, from RMB 8.44 million or RMB 0.14 per share, prior year. Earnings per ADS was RMB 0.72 or $0.12 in the second quarter of 2013.

Total revenues were RMB 760.29 million, compared to RMB 792.48 million last year. Gross profit increased by 28.2% in the second quarter of 2013 from prior year. The company said the increase in gross profit was mainly due to the increase in overall gross profit margin.
